I’m not sure where the recipe originated, but in no way do I claim that I made up this recipe. It is normally made with just strawberry jello and strawberries so I decided to change it up a little!!:)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
CRUST: or bottom layer.
2 cup crushed pretzels
3 Tbsp sugar
3/4 cup melted butter
Mix all together and spread into the bottom of a 13×9 baking dish. Bake at 375 for 8 minutes. Cool completely.
In mixing bowl add,
1- 8oz block cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1-8 oz tub of cool whip
Whip all ingredients till smooth. Spread on top of cooled pretzel crust.
1-6oz box strawberry/banana jello
2 cups boiling water
2 cups sliced strawberries
1 cup sliced bananas
Bring water to a boil. Dissolve jello in water. Add fruit. Slowly pour over cream cheese layer. Let set in fridge for at least 4 hours.
